Gloom descended upon the realm, blanket of fear as the army of malice started to stir. A prophecy foretold the arrival of a terrible entity, one who would cast its control over all. This was the legend of A Ascent, a journey toward the abyss. Rumors circulated among the commonfolk, sharing of someone cloaked in blackness, a hint of an wicked power
